Practice Programs:

At Centurion Wrestling Club, we develop strong wrestlers through mastery of fundamentals, a score‑first, score often mindset, and a genuine love of the sport.

To support long-term growth, we offer two age‑specific training programs:

  • Elite Foundations Program – building the core fundamentals
    • 1st – 5th Grader athletes with 1 year experience.
  • Elite Mastery Program – advancing and mastering those fundamentals
    • 6th – 12th Grade Athletes with at least 2 years experience.

Explore each program below to see which one is the right fit for your athlete.

Elite Foundations Program:

Who’s it for:

1st–5th grade athletes with some wrestling experience.
(A year of experience is recommended, but not required.)

The Focus:

We focus on building a strong wrestling mindset and refining core fundamentals that help athletes score points and dictate action.

This program is not “basic.” While youth-friendly & focused, it challenges athletes with proven, technical instruction—which is why a year of experience is recommended.

The How:

We train consistently within a proven developmental system while keeping the schedule realistic for young athletes and families. Wrestlers are encouraged to develop their own style as they learn and refine essential skills.

FOUNDATIONS – What Athletes Develop
  • An attacking style that pressures opponents and controls the pace
  • Effort-over-outcome mindset, building confidence and self‑determination
  • Strong habits through repetition, experimentation, and consistent practice
  • Body control, technical awareness, and composure in all wrestling situations
Is this right for everyone?

Not necessarily.
This program is for families focused on long-term development, not early youth titles. Growth takes time, and early results may vary—but athletes who stay the course build the strongest foundation. Wrestling is a marathon, not a sprint.

Where do I sign up? Follow these steps!
  1. We recommend joining the GroupMe first, we do not permit Drop Ins unless a member invites the athlete (This is done mostly to ensure athletes have partners!)
  2. Joining will allow you to ask/see if there are members of similar size and age for your athlete. The breakdown of Weights and Ages is in the GroupMe.
  3. Complete the Registration Form & Purchase your Membership

Elite Mastery Program:

Who’s it for:

For 6th–12th grade athletes with 2+ years of wrestling experience.
Training is high-level and designed for wrestlers ready to take ownership of their development.

The Focus:

This program builds on the Foundations mindset, emphasizing mastery of core positions, elite habits in wrestling & life, and a competition-ready mentality.

Athletes learn to pursue excellence in both wrestling and life.

The How:

Athletes train within a refined and documented system designed to help them dominate on the mat. They take ownership of their development while being guided by experienced coaching, sound training methods, and proven mindsets.

Mastery athletes will develop:
  • An attacking, pressure-based style with higher levels of control and intensity, we call this Controlled Ferocity
  • Ownership of their training and performance, supported by coaches, athletes will begin to dictate how their career will go.
  • A personal style that works against a wide range of opponents
  • Understanding of high-level positions, situational composure, and match management
  • Mind, body, and technical maturity to consistently compete at a high level
Is this right for everyone?

It depends.
Newer athletes will benefit if they’re committed to the process. Athletes looking for instant results often struggle—this program puts responsibility in their hands. We provide the guidance, fuel, and knowledge; they must learn to drive.

Where do I sign up? Follow these steps!
  1. We recommend joining the GroupMe first, but you’re also welcome to Drop In to a practice to try it out. Drop Ins are $20.
  2. The GroupMe is designed to keep parents informed and updated on practice plans, major announcements and opportunities.
  3. If you’re serious about joining, we recommend getting a membership. Our memberships carry many awesome benefits besides the training and are the best way to ensure you give the program a chance to work for the athlete.
